This month's cooking group will be hosted by Kori Lopez! It will be held Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00 p.m. In the spirit of St. Patricks Day, the theme will be Anything Green! The possibilities are endless...fruit, veggies, drinks, jello! So bring your favorite dish with something green in it and come enjoy!! We hope to see you all there. Luscious Lemon Drops
1 pkg lemon flavored cake mix
1 container 4 1/2 oz cool whip (I only found 8 oz containers so I just guessed about 1/2 of it)
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel or lemon extract ( I used the extract)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except powdered sugar and mix well. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar, turn to coat well. place 1 1/2 inches apart on a well greased baking sheet (I used parchment paper) bake 12 min or until done. Enjoy! I added green food coloring to make these green for the night.
