S u p e r b o w l . S N A C K S

A new year will bring a new kind of Cooking Group theme. Our January Cooking Group will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, January 8th at the home of Jamie Pace. Since our theme is SUPERBOWL SNACKS be prepared for quite the snacky event with lots of yummy things we make for our husbands and friends on Superbowl weekend. If you are not a football fan, don't fear, just bring your favorite movie time snack!

We still need someone to host for February, April, May and June...so please let Sara Wilhelm or Jamie Chiara know so we can continue Cooking Group! You can also comment to this post.

CHRISTMAS EVE traditions

The turnout was great, the food was delicious, and now we really need you to post your recipes from the December Cooking Group. This month's cooking group was held at Clara Dillard's home and the theme was Christmas Eve Traditions. Give us your yummy recipes so we can put them in our cookbooks and try them next year!

October - Comfort Foods

The theme for our first cooking group is Comfort Foods. With winter approaching quickly it will be nice to get some great recipes to make us all feel better. Bring anything you want, a recipe from grandma, your moms home cooking, soups, or cookies. If you already know what you're bringing click on comments and leave your recipe...if not you can do it anytime. Cooking Group will be held at Jamie Chiara's house on October 2 at 7:00 pm. We are really excited to be starting this back up again and hope that you can all use a ladies night away from the family and join us. Please call Jamie if you need directions.
Also if you are interested in hosting one of these fun nights, let us know, we'll sign you up!

Progressive Dinner . husband's favorites

So we are not having cooking group in September, but we are going to have a fabulous Enrichment where we all get together to enjoy each other's company and eat some yummy food made by our fellow sisters. Since our theme for the Progressive Dinner is "Husband's Favorite," we thought it would be nice to collect recipes from those who are bringing an appetizer or a main dish. Please just click on the comment link below and sumbit your recipe. We look forward to meeting all of you on Sept. 20th at 6:00 pm (starting at Laurie Fisher's home) for a night filled with lots of eating and talking!

Let's Get Started

We are so excited to get started with cooking group this October. It's been a success and we hope that we will have lots of new gals as well as old timers. We are going to keep track of recipes this year by using this blog as our home base. Just click on the comments link at the bottom of each month's post and type in your recipe and then everyone will be able to view it. Be sure to check back to this site for information on when and where cooking group will be. We are looking for volunteers to host future cooking groups. We would like to fill up the slots until next spring. Anyone is welcome to host. Just leave a comment below if you are interested in hosting and let us know which month would work for you. If you need help coming up with theme ideas contact Sara Wilhelm or Jamie Chiara.
