S u p e r b o w l . S N A C K S



A new year will bring a new kind of Cooking Group theme. Our January Cooking Group will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, January 8th at the home of Jamie Pace. Since our theme is SUPERBOWL SNACKS be prepared for quite the snacky event with lots of yummy things we make for our husbands and friends on Superbowl weekend. If you are not a football fan, don't fear, just bring your favorite movie time snack!

We still need someone to host for February, April, May and June...so please let Sara Wilhelm or Jamie Chiara know so we can continue Cooking Group! You can also comment to this post.

Spring's Yummy Dip
1 can Refried Beans
8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 Cup Sour Cream
2 Garlic cloves-crushed
2 Tblspn Taco Seasoning
Cheese-grated
Tomatoes diced
Green Onions diced
olives-diced
cilantro

1.Spread beans on bottom of pie pan
2. In Med. size bowl combine Cream cheese, Sour Cream, Garlic, and Taco seasoning
3.Spread mix over beans
4.Sprinkle cheese over top (enough to cover completely)
5.Place in a oven for 20 minutes at 350*
6. Let cool 10 minutes, add diced tomatoes, green onions, olives and cilantro to top

MUDDY BUDDY MIX

1 tsp. vanilla*
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. butter (I half this)*
7 c. Chex cereal (I prefer Crispix)

Measure cereal into large bowl; set aside. Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter in 1-quart microwavable bowl, uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer if needed until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal in bowl, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into large plastic food-storage bag; add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated.

*Vanilla and butter are optional in my opinion. I have omitted both and it still tastes great!
